Racing Adds 2 New Drivers
To SCCA Regional Series
Instinct Racing is proud to announce that 2 new drivers will be competing
in this years 2004 SCCA Regional series.
New comer Ricardo Garcia from Fremont, Ca will attend the SCCA drivers school this weekend at Thunder Hill Raceway. He will then attend the season opener in April at Infineon Raceway. Ricardo new to Formula car racing, has prior racing experience in Go Karts while living in Brazil.
Mike Miller long time member of Instinct Racing will be returning to the cockpit after a 4 year hiatus from driving. Mike will split his time this year between running selected races, and continuing his role as crew chief for Colin Cross, Marge Lundberg and Jim Petrek in the National series.
Mike purchased his Caracal C from retired Instinct driver Orrin Cross. "I wanted to race last year but I rented the car to teammate Rob Harvey. Over the winter I rebuilt the entire car, and now I am ready to race. I have waited long enough". Stated an excited Miller.
Instinct Racing will have 3 drivers running the national Series, and 2 running the Regional series. "I am really happy. Our program is taking off and getting stronger. With 5 active drivers this year we are going to busy. We still have Rich Keenan and Rob Harvey that will attend selected events during the year. We are the largest team in Formula Vee in the country". Said Team owner Colin Cross
